BridgePointe Church in Owensboro, KY hosted their annual Breakaway Retreat for families at Jonathan Creek. It was an opportunity for these families to worship and play together after a busy summer. As they put it, "We pack up our church, head down to Kentucky Lake and visit Jonathan Creek Retreat Center for an amazing three days of fellowship, worship and spiritual growth." They held three services and provided opportunities for break out seminars. I had a great time leading a marriage and family seminar. We discussed where marriage began, how it teaches us about God, and why it is such a struggle. People were rescued from sin and death, obedient in baptism, and united officially with the BridgePointe family. I want to thank Pastor Steve for allowing me the privilege of serving this church family.
